Refund Policy

At Récifarium , the health and quality of our corals are our priority. Due to the living, fragile, and perishable nature of our products, we do not offer standard refunds . However, we understand that unforeseen situations may arise during shipping.

Cases eligible for partial refund or credit

A partial credit or refund may be granted at our discretion in the following situations:

  • Dead On Arrival (DOA) Coral.

  • Coral severely damaged to the point of compromising its survival.

  • Shipping error (you receive a different coral than the one ordered, out of WYSIWYG).

Conditions for receiving a partial refund or credit:

  1. Contact us within 2 hours of receiving the package.

  2. Send clear photos of the coral(s) in their original sealed bag .

  3. Clearly describe the problem encountered (e.g. DOA, wrong species received).

Without this evidence, we will not be able to credit, refund or replace.


What is not refundable

  • Changes of mind after purchase.

  • Absence at the time of delivery or delay in collecting the package .

  • Minor color differences due to aquarium lighting or screen.

  • Problems that arose after acclimatization in your aquarium.


Possible forms of compensation

In the event of a problem deemed valid, we may, at our discretion, offer:

  • A credit applicable to a future order.

  • A replacement on a future shipment, if possible.

  • A partial refund , only if no other option is applicable.


Important note

We do our best to provide quality service, but due to the sensitivity of marine animals, some risks are beyond our control (extreme temperature, transport delays, etc.). We recommend that you be present and available for delivery , and that you carefully follow the acclimatization instructions to maximize the survival of your corals.

  2. Send clear photos of the coral(s) in the original, sealed shipping bags .

  3. Describe the issue in detail (eg, DOA, wrong item received).

Without these proofs, we will not be able to issue a credit, refund, or replacement.


Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Failure to be present at the time of delivery or delays in unpacking the order.

  • Minor color differences due to lighting or display variations.

  • Issues that occur after acclimation into your tank.


Compensation Options

If the issue is validated, we may, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

  • Store credit for a future purchase.

  • Replacement coral in a future shipment, if available.

  • Partial refund , only if no other solution is feasible.


Important Note

We take all necessary precautions to ensure safe delivery, but due to the sensitivity of marine life, certain risks are beyond our control (extreme weather, shipping delays, etc.). We strongly recommend being available to receive your shipment and following proper acclimation procedures to ensure coral survival.
